Kingston Solecki (b. 2007) is a composer, trumpeter, and current freshman at Southern Methodist University. He began composing at the age of 16 and recently had a world premiere of his piece Riptides of the Red Sea, performed by the Lone Star TMEA Honor Band. Kingston has received commissions for solo works for various instruments. When not composing, he enjoys playing trumpet with the Mustang Marching Band and spending time fishing.
